Ward was born on the 15th of April 1977 in MonroeLouisiana. She was a student at a private Christian elementary school called Monroe Christian School. In her secondary educationWard attended Ouachita Parish High School. She later transferred in River Oaks High School on the summer after her senior year. There she was a member of the drill and dance team. The school she attended briefly was Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. When she was thirteen years old, Ward began modeling, leaving school, and then moving to New York in order to accomplish this. She tried her hand in acting several years later. In the 1970s, she acted as an uncredited character in All My Children. A couple of years later, she was selected for the NBC premiertime drama for teens Malibu Shores. In the year 1996, Ward was cast in the role of Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. She began a career in movies as Brittany Foster the psychotic character in the horror film The In Crowd. This movie, which was at first a failure financially in the cinema, and later on video-on demand (VOD), became wildly loved. Ward later played a pivotal support role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. She also appeared as a guest in many TV shows and direct-to-DVD films. In 2009she got the part of Chloe Kmet, the mother of a girl who is in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. She was married to David C. Robinson, a producer. The couple was blessed with a baby named Cameron.
